Guess what? Summer vacay is over. One minute it’s all pool parties, crop tops and Smurfs 3D, and then you wake up and it’s fall and RICK PERRY IS HERE. We all know what that means: the seasons are a-changing, and it’s time we change along with it.
Fall friends, it’s harvest time—time to dig deep inside your brain and harvest some values and intelligence because soon you’re going to be stuck inside with people talking about politics. And there is no room for ignorance, small mindedness or Uggs. (That last one is just an LHJ personal preference.)
We’ve lost some brain cells with the increased Vitamin D, so we are taking you all back to school. Bring your idle brains to the table…we’re serving up a steaming hot bowl of common sense:

Now that you’ve been eased into the use of your brains, what you need is a stiff drink. Get your fucking courage up. Let all your inhibitions go, not your reasoning, and just say what you mean already. Cool it with the flip flopping. Summer is OVER.

Sink your teeth into this hunk of meat: a savory slab of ethics, rationality and equity.

Dessert: Political Participation Pie
It’s been a whole lot of eating tonight, so this is just the proverbial icing on the cake. This sweet treat will inspire you to put allllll those deep thoughts and morals into action. Plus, PIE!
